Our Story

We met during the summer of 2020 after being introduced by some of our relatives (specifically Jarred’s… you know who you are!) trying to play matchmaker. We didn’t really think too much of this when we first started talking, but little did we know we would find ourselves getting engaged three years later! The past three years have been eventful and fast-paced, and even though we don’t expect things to slow-down anytime soon, we believe that starting a website would be a great way to learn from and share our experiences with others while trying to navigate this roadmap called life.

What does the “J” and “L” stand for?

Our names, Jarred & Lexi. Life is complicated enough so we like to try and keep things simple where we can 😊

What does “26” mean??

The number 26 holds a special place in our hearts: our birthdays are both on the 26^th, our parents’ wedding anniversaries are on the 26^th, our wedding is arranged for the 26^th, and Jarred even ran a freakin’ marathon (approximately 26 miles, 26.2 to be exact) on the day we got engaged! Given that this number means a lot to us, we also hope to incorporate in our website down the road (stay tuned!).
